Sizing

Kaya Couture garments fit “true-to-size”. Please order by size. If your child is between sizes; call or email the child’s chest, waist (around the navel), full height (from the top of their head to the floor--without shoes) as well as their weight. We will be able to determine whether the child fits in to one of our standard sizes, or if a custom cut will be necessary.

Custom cuts are $30 and are final sales. When the correct measurements are taken, alterations should not be required. Hold the measuring tape loosely enough to fit a finger between the skin and the tape. Always measure twice. Do not use a string. Do not use the tape measure in the tool box! Do not use a ruler or a yard stick. You will not get accurate measurements with anything other than a flexible sewing tape measure. If you are unsure about taking measurements, have the child professionally measured by a tailor.

Children need to be measured within 14 weeks of the event date. If you are ready to place your order, and your event date is farther than 14 weeks away, it is considered an ‘Advanced Order’.
